Me and Brandon had a fun 6 day get away to California this week for a little business/pleasure!
I started the trip off in a panic with my black berry missing so I was forced to live a week with no cell phone!! ( Dave later found it hidden in the front entry closet shoved under the door, thanks Brandon!) Flying has become an art when you are going by yourself with a baby and since this is the 4th time I have gone on my own I thought I had it down.... Be prepared to shove everything through the belt to scan all your items this includes: taking out my laptop, bag of liquid, sippy cup, stroller, backpack,purse, shoes, Brandon's shoes, coats, camera.... and of course as I am doing this you have to watch your stuff in 4 totes hold a squirmy baby ticket/id and walk through the metal detector! This is definitely horrible! LOL.
So for the business end I went to the Long Beach Hair show that was amazing this years trends include either blunt straight across bangs or down the middle side no bang look. We are going to see alot of texture and very clean lines. One of the trends the very brave girls are doing is shaving part of their hair like aboy and then keeping some long bangs. Long hair is still very popular but the curl is fuller and more wavy. The trendiest curling iron is the wand I love I have had one for 2 years that I special ordered and it is amazing!
For our pleasure we got to see my mom and dad in Newport go to lunch lounge by the beach, go to the OC zoo, ride the train and go to the cutest boutiques! We had alot of Fun!

A little Christmas Cheer and New Year Love!

This Holiday season flew by for us! We actually rented out our house (in one day I know!) and moved to a new home, hence the reason we have been so elusive! Christmas was a merry event that we spent with Dave's family enjoying the festivities! We are so excited because Dave's sister is having a baby in July so Brandon will now be 1 of 2 grand kids on the Stringham side! This New year is one me and Dave will never forget! We rang it in early with yummy Chinese food and went early to bed (awaken by neighbor pots and pans and fireworks) LOL we are so boring but hey that is how it goes when you have to pack up a home in less than a week!!! Yes 1/2 of our house is at the DI! Everything in this move seemed to work out very quickly and smoothly, which is a delight to me since 2010 is going to be so much sweeter! Sorry friends that I didn't get my cards out in time but, We really hope all of you had wonderful holidays with your families and friends and we wish you all an amazing 2010!!!

Life has been so crazy at the Stringham House these last couple of months!
Brandon is starting to walk and has taken his first steps, it is the cutest thing ever made.
He had a great Monkey Birthday Party at the Zoo and at our house.
Everyday is a so fun watching him grow!
I can not believe that the Holidays are already here!
